Poll results: Who was the top Section III football player of Week 5?

Syracuse, N.Y. — In a tight race, Connor McDonald of Whitesboro received the most votes and was voted the syracuse.com Section III football player of the week.
The sophomore put on a show for the defending section champs with four catches for 133 yards and three scores in Whitesboro’s 56-10 win over RFA.
His 434 receiving yards are the most in Section III Class A this fall and sixth-most in the whole section, according to stats submitted to syracuse.com. He’s also tied for the section lead with seven receiving touchdowns and has proven to be a playmaker out of the backfield as well with 300 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns.
